On 10 March 2017, LKK Health Products Group (LKKHPG) was awarded as a Caring Company for the first time by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Such honour recognises the company’s efforts in caring for the community, its employees and the environment. Infinitus (Hong Kong) Company Ltd., a member of LKKHPG, has been named as a Caring Company for the third time. In addition, the Group was honoured as a Happy Company again by the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and the Hong Kong Productivity Council.
Last year, LKKHPG strengthened its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. For example, it established the LKKHPG Volunteer Service Team in Hong Kong to encourage colleagues to participate in social services, such as home visits to the elderly in Sheung Shui. In addition, it has adopted a series of family-friendly employment policies and practices to help its employees achieve a tri-balance among health, family and work. Regarding environmental policy, energy conservation and low-carbon equipment are highly encouraged; meanwhile, it has supported Earth Hour, the worldwide climate awareness campaign, for seven consecutive years. Earlier this year, LKKHPG and its members issued their CSR reports separately for the first time to meet its diversified development strategy and make it easier for stakeholders to grasp the whole picture.
Infinitus, as a member of LKKHPG, has been committed to CSR in health, quality, employees, partners, environment and community, and striving to provide premium Chinese herbal health products and services for customers to create a healthier life with balance, affluence and harmony. Last year, Infinitus (Hong Kong) Company Ltd. once again supported the charity walk organised by the Community Chest of Hong Kong and visited over 100 elderly people living alone during Mid-Autumn Festival.
“We believe, when we provide a ‘feel good’ working environment and encourage our employees to give back to society, it can boost the employees’ happiness and arouse their commitment and responsibilities, enabling them to grow together with the company,” said Mr. Harry Yeung, Senior Vice President of LKKHPG.
