Founded in 1989, Hamon Investment Group (Hamon) is an international investment and asset management group that is headquartered in Hong Kong, with over three decades of experience investing in public and private equity markets.
The Group through its subsidiaries is licensed in Hong Kong (the Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”)), and the United Kingdom (Financial Conduct Authority), as well as registered with the Korean Financial Services Commission.
Hamon was initially established as a Hong Kong-SFC regulated Asian institutional asset manager managing Asian equities for institutional clients looking to participate in the opportunities of higher growth companies in Asia and in particular, China. Today, we are a dedicated Asian and Global Emerging Markets (GEM) specialist based in Hong Kong and London that provides asset management through mutual funds and managed accounts to institutional and family office clients in Asia, Europe and the U.S.A.
We have also expanded our activities to provide multi-asset solutions including private market strategies that can help ensure clients’ needs are met in a variety of market environments. Since inception, Hamon have deployed and managed in excess of USD 2.8 billion of capital across various strategies and asset classes
Our strong strategic partnership culture is a critical success factor in our business growth. Our many longstanding institutional business partners from Europe, USA and Asia include HSBC, Merrill Lynch, Lombard Odier and the Bank of New York Mellon which became an equity partner in 1998.
