Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations team and other support functions in the Central Kitchen to achieve the company targets
  • Plan and manage the daily food production and distribution activities efficiently and effectively in accordance with the company standards and the business goals
  • Maintain solid operational performance in safe and quality manners by executing standards in ISO22000, HACCP and GMP as the minimum requirements
  • Design, establish and demonstrate SOPs for employees’ action
  • Initiate improvement projects and cooperate with cross-departments in the Group to enhance productivity and operation
  • Work closely with different departments, such as R&D, Supply Chains, Brands and so on.
  • Participate in menu planning, preparation of recipes, production and forecasting
  • Manage the cost and allocate the resources effectively to ensure budget P&L alignment
  • Inspect and monitor the workflow and working environment to optimize sanitation standards
  • Handle staff issues and external audits or inquiries from legislation bodies
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by the Management

 Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Manufacturing, Food science, Logistic or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years experiences in food manufacturing / central kitchen with at least 4 years management experiences
  • Candidates with food production experience in food-chains are highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience in Food Production is a plus
  • Strong integrity and high ethical standards is a must
  • Have strong communication, management and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Solid knowledge in quality and hygiene system, e.g. HACCP, ISO22000 and so on
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain system and PC skills, such as MS Office, Dynamics 365 and Chinese word processing

Mr. LAU Tat Man, Daren

Mr. LAU Tat Man, Daren, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Tam Jai International Co. Limited (“TJI” or “the Company”) since 2018. He is responsible for shaping the growth path of the Company, leading strategic initiative and managing overall business development and operation. Under his leadership, TJI has been dedicated its resources to strengthen the market positioning, enhance operation standards and efficiencies, develop innovative products as well as improve overall food safety and food quality. The Company’s two brands, TamJai Yunnan Mixian and TamJai SamGor Mixian, successfully expand their footprint beyond Hong Kong and will set up their overseas stores in Shenzhen and Singapore respectively in 2020.

Mr. Lau has over 30 years of management experience in food and beverage industry in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Region. Prior to joining the Company, He had held senior management positions in premier corporations including Café de Coral Corporation, SSP Group Ltd., TGI Friday’s and The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong.

Mr. Lau holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was placed on the Dean’s list.
