Responsibilities:

•      Work closely with different business stakeholders to understand business and data requirements

•      Partner with the various business and technical teams to support the design and development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations

•      Develop and maintain data warehouse and ETL process for data management

•      Design, implement and optimize ETL data pipelines and automation

•      Ensure the data quality, security, privacy and compliance

•      Proactively enhance data infrastructure/ processes with best practices and latest technologies

•      Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and propose innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering or any related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Retail or F&B IT industry, of which 3 years’ experience in designing and developing data modelling, infrastructure, and warehousing
• Hands-on experience in Python, Hadoop/Spark, SQL, NoSQL, SSIS, SSRS and BI Tools
• Demonstrates strong analytics skills and practical expertise in ETL, data cleansing, mapping, and evaluation
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills, open-minded
• Good command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Sound Knowledge of data modelling, database design, data warehousing concepts, Cloud data infrastructure, etc.
• Knowledge on AI and Machine Learning is an advantage
• Willing to travel and support different overseas projects
