About Our Talents
Jacqueline Hon
Associate Director, Human Resources
My journey with Tam Jai Mixian began 5 years ago when I joined as the Human Resources and Administration Manager. Today, I am proud to hold the position of Associate Director of Group Human Resources at Tam Jai International.
Over the years, I have witnessed the remarkable transformation of TJI from a locally beloved F&B business into an internationally recognized brand. The company has provided me with invaluable opportunities, including the chance to assist with the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process from an HR perspective. This experience has significantly benefited my career development.
Moreover, the harmonious working environment across departments at TJI has fostered a collaborative spirit, where everyone strives together to achieve higher goals. This cohesive culture has enabled new joiners to adapt seamlessly to the rapid growth and evolution of the company.
As TJI aspires to become an international player, it has inspired me to set even greater career aspirations. I’m not one to settle for stability; instead, I’m always seeking new challenges. One valuable lesson I’ve learned from my leader’s management is the importance of paying attention to the “God in the details” when working towards my objectives.
My advice to all new joiners would be to embrace a proactive mindset, remain open to advice and opinions from colleagues, and demonstrate consideration for others when facing challenges. These traits will undoubtedly help propel your career forward within the dynamic environment of TJI.

Senior Operations Manager, TamJai Yunnan Mixian
Having worked at TamJai Yunnan Mixian for nearly 5 years, I’m truly impressed by the empathy and team spirit among colleagues. From my early days as a District Manager, the dedication of frontline” Jeh Jeh” in guiding and helping me adapt during my training was remarkable.
The company offers ample opportunities for career advancement and clear directions for professional growth. This has allowed me to explore new areas, especially the challenging innovative technology strategy implemented by the company.
As a Senior Operations Manager now, I’ve had more chances to collaborate with colleagues from different departments who willingly provide guidance. Together, we successfully complete assigned projects and uphold the company’s mission of “Bringing Tam Jai Taste to the World”, while embodying the strong belief in teamwork.
TJI serves as an ideal workplace for candidates who are eager to embrace new challenges and have the courage to seek innovative solutions. Confidence plays a key role in achieving success in the professional realm!
Karen Mak
Senior Design Manager
Having worked in interior design consultancy firms for several years, joining TJI has provided me with a broader career spectrum and increased opportunities. In my role, I am responsible for managing the designs of all branches, both in local and international markets.
The global exposure offered by TJI enticed me to join the company three years ago. Working at TJI has given me the chance to handle diverse global projects, such as overseeing overseas store designs and developing the international model for our kitchen to create a Center of Excellence in Hong Kong. These exciting projects have enriched my knowledge and experience, particularly in store operations.
One aspect I love about TJI is its encouragement of open communication. This culture allows me to explore new designs for different branches and collaborate on important decisions for the company. Personally, I believe that being open-minded and continuously learning new knowledge are key factors for success.

Associate Director, Operations, TamJai SamGor Mixian
I have been a part of the TamJai SamGor Mixian family for nearly 3 years, and I currently hold the position of Associate Director in the Operations Department. I firmly believe that the phrase “The more precise, the more successful” best describes TJI’s business model as a leading F&B company. As a publicly listed company, TJI has successfully integrated the local food culture and experienced rapid expansion in Hong Kong and overseas in recent years – a key reason why I joined the company in 2021.
When I first joined TJI, the biggest challenge I faced was adapting to the rapid development and coordinating with the new organizational structures. However, these challenges have also presented valuable opportunities for promotion and personal growth within the company.
I believe that “Willingness to Listen,” “Sense of Trust,” and “Empathy” are the core cultural values of TJI. We have developed a close-knit working environment where the management is down-to-earth and considerate towards their employees.
The company recognizes the importance of sustainable and long-term career growth for its employees. As TJI expanded into the Mainland China, Singapore, and Japanese markets, I was fortunate to be selected for a 2-month secondment in Japan, along with two other operations staff members. This experience was truly unforgettable, as it not only broadened my knowledge of the local Japanese catering business model but also allowed me to immerse myself in a different culture beyond Hong Kong.
