TJI Shines with 20 Awards at Marketing Magazine’s “PR Awards Hong Kong”

(Hong Kong, 18 August 2023) – Tam Jai International Co. Limited (“TJI” or the “Company,” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; HKEX stock code: 2217), a leading and renowned mixian-specialized fast-casual restaurant chain, has achieved remarkable success at the “PR Awards 2023”, organised by the Marketing Magazine. The Group, along with its two prominent brands, TamJai Yunnan Mixian (譚仔雲南米線) and TamJai SamGor Mixian (譚仔三哥米線) achieved an outstanding feat by sweeping a total of 20 accolades in Hong Kong. These accolades include the highly prestigious “Best of Show – Brand”, along with seven Golds, nine Silvers, and three Bronzes, recognising the Group’s innovative PR, branding and marketing campaigns.

“The PR Awards 2023 Hong Kong” is an esteemed event organised by the Marketing Magazine that celebrates the accomplishments of exceptional PR practitioners who have demonstrated outstanding success through their cutting-edge campaigns. This year, leaders from diverse industries were invited to compete in a total of 35 categories. The entries underwent comprehensive evaluation by the professional judging panel comprising of 22 public relations veterans coming from different industries in the region.

Mr. LAU Tat Man, Daren

Mr. LAU Tat Man, Daren, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Tam Jai International Co. Limited (“TJI” or “the Company”) since 2018. He is responsible for shaping the growth path of the Company, leading strategic initiative and managing overall business development and operation. Under his leadership, TJI has been dedicated its resources to strengthen the market positioning, enhance operation standards and efficiencies, develop innovative products as well as improve overall food safety and food quality. The Company’s two brands, TamJai Yunnan Mixian and TamJai SamGor Mixian, successfully expand their footprint beyond Hong Kong and will set up their overseas stores in Shenzhen and Singapore respectively in 2020.

Mr. Lau has over 30 years of management experience in food and beverage industry in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Region. Prior to joining the Company, He had held senior management positions in premier corporations including Café de Coral Corporation, SSP Group Ltd., TGI Friday’s and The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong.

Mr. Lau holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was placed on the Dean’s list.
