Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Daren Lau<\/strong> has been named one of the \u201cGBA ESG Entrepreneurs 30\u201d by Forbes China, in recognition of his remarkable achievement in promoting environmental, social and governance (\u201cESG\u201d).<\/p>\nUnder the stewardship of Mr. Lau, TJI has established an ESG Strategy Framework characterised with the three core pillars of \u201cNourishing Communities\u201d, \u201cUplifting People\u201d and \u201cPreserving Nature\u201d, which has been instrumental in driving the Group\u2019s significant progress in sustainability while achieving business growth. Among some of the notable ESG initiatives implemented, the Group has established the Tam Jai Goodness Trust (the \u201cTrust\u201d) to further promote sustainability and enhance the well-being of its customers, employees and partners under the three ESG core pillars. Since its establishment, the Trust has supported various projects, including the Tam Jai International Education Support Scheme, which provides scholarships to eligible employees\u2019 children to complete their local undergraduate studies.
